We are a partnership of qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapists operating from Marlborough, Wiltshire. All partners hold Enhanced DBS certificates and subscribe to the update service. We are all HCPC registered. The partners are:
Catherine Williams Dip COT PGCert SpEd
Catherine qualified as an Occupational Therapist from Liverpool in 1989. She has worked in a wide range of Paediatric specialities and settings for 30+ years.
- Catherine has worked in the independent sector since 2004 and worked with the NHS prior to this. She has undertaken postgraduate training in autism, cerebral palsy, sensory integration and DCD (Dyspraxia)
- She has experience of working with pre-school and school-age children, within mainstream and special schools, clinics and home
- She has a particular interest in helping children with coordination difficulties, autism, cerebral palsy and brain injury
- Catherine worked as a Brain Injury Case Manager and has experience of working with legal claims and Educational Tribunals.
- Catherine is currently studying for a Masters in Neuroscience.
Catherine is married, with grown-up sons. She buys too many books and belongs to a Book Club. Catherine loves the outdoors and getting out into the fresh air.
Jessica Dunn Dip COT, BSc Hons Psychology
Jessica qualified as an Occupational Therapist in London in 1998. She also has a Degree in Psychology.
- She has over 25 years clinical experience working in a range of Paediatric settings, in the NHS and in Independent practice. She works with with pre-school and school-age children 0-18;
- Her current caseload is focused on providing comprehensive initial assessments, as well as reviews and regular work in independent Preparatory and Senior Schools, state schools and working in a Specialist School for deaf children.
- She has a particular interest in helping children with coordination difficulties, handwriting, sensory processing difficulties, retained reflexes relating to co-ordination, and general developmental delay.
- Jessica also works as a Brain Injury Case Manager with 3HUB.
Denise Rees BSc (Occupational Therapy)
Denise qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1993. She has worked in a range of different settings in the USA, South Africa and the UK.
- Denise started her career in Paediatrics in 1996 in a Child’s Rehabilitation Centre in New York, USA. She then returned to Cape Town to join a private practise there. In 2003, she started working in London in community paediatrics. She joined the Swindon Paediatric Therapy Team in 2006 and is still working with this team today. She does part-time work in the private sector.
- She has experience with a range of different ages from pre-school to secondary school children and across a range of setting, special school; units for children with special needs within mainstream school, and mainstream and pre-school settings.
- Denise enjoys working with children with a range of different difficulties including autism, co-ordination difficulties, sensory integration difficulties and cerebral palsy. She has done post-graduate courses related to all these areas.
Denise lives with her husband, her daughter who is in secondary school and her much loved black Labrador. She loves travelling and the outdoors.
Annabelle Jones BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
Annabelle qualified as an Occupational Therapist from Oxford Brookes University in 1997. She has worked in a wide range of settings including paediatrics for the last 27 years.
- Annabelle has 20 plus years of paediatric Occupational Therapy experience, in the NHS and independent sector. She has experience of working with all ages of children from babies up to the late teens.
- Annabelle has experience with children in hospital (Great Ormond street hospital), pre-schools, schools and at home with a range of conditions including – cerebral palsy (including hemiplegia), brain injury, ASD, ADHD, and sensory processing difficulties and early developmental delay, supporting those children to maximise their potential through assessment, advise, provision of OT programmes and direct 1:1 treatment.
- Annabelle is experienced in providing training to school staff on sensory processing and sensory circuits.
- Annabelle has experience of the assessment and provision of specialist equipment for children and teenagers.
Annabelle is married and has 2 daughters, 1 at primary school and 1 at secondary school.
